Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Az goes by a point system. An advisor told me that to get into the program, you need to have at least 64.5 points. I currently have 62.5 and don't know if I should even bother. To be accepted, you have to have a current C.N.A license. If you are like me, I took the C.N.A. course 2 years ago and my license has lapsed. The Arizona Nursing Board will not remind you that you no longer are licensed and the license is not good for two years. It actually expires on your birthday of the year it is suppose to expire. If that makes any sense. I think I'd rather go the Fast Track L.P.N. route at Gateway. Does anybody know if there is a wait for this program and if it is worth it? Also, does anybody know if you take the HESI exam agin, do you get to keep the highest score or your most recent score? That's the only way I will get enough points to apply for the CAC program. I'll have to get 95% on A&P and Math......
