Hi I currently have all of my prerequisites for nursing school completed at my local JC. I need help and advice if I should consider applying to West Coast University. The big selling point for this University is that it does not have a waitlist. But I have been doing some research on the school and see that it is not accredited by WASC and only accredited by the accrediting counsel of independent colleges and schools. Is the degree at WCU recognizable? Will a BSN at WCU get me a job and is it worth 100k? I am hoping that with my prerequisites done at the JC will lower the costs. Please if there are any alumni or current nursing students at WCU please give me any advice and experiences you have with the University. I have seen a lot of gray areas where the school seems both good and bad. Thanks!
