Thnx once more for your extensive answer,you have confirmed my doubts ,it's probably not the best time for immigration,but however I am still in experimental phase relating immigration issues! I am just going to investigate Australian forum a little bit,seems quite dynamic over there ! Maybe it's a little better employment chance in Oz ! Or maybe I should start learning German instead of English :-) What is the reason for so many part -time jobs in Canada ,here in Croatia we work full time or overtime ,no place for part-time :-)

Hello from Croatia! I would appreciate if anyone of Canadian nurses could tell me something about present nursing shortage in Canada? Is now the perfect time for immigration ,or maybe not :-) ? Is there significant difference between provinces ? What do you predict will happen with nursing labor market in the future ? What could you say from your point of view? Any comments and suggestions are welcomed ! Thanks !

That is not so great:eek:,how much does it cost to prepare sandwich for yourself?:) Here in hospitals meals in canteen are usually around 4-7$ and salary is 850-1000$ . But of course in mine little crazy state hospital we have 12h shifts which means free breakfast ,lunch, brunch and dinner ,and colleague of mine usually takes a meal for her dog haha ! Do you have opportunities to advance through some courses or it is just lpn and than rn level ?

Thank you very much ? Not paid meal breaks grr,here in Croatia I get meals for free and I can ask for encore(just have luck ,our chef always prepare too much food ) ,and it is paid while I chew:lol2:

Hello! I am a nurse from Croatia,and I am thinking about migration to Canada,but first I must improve my English skills :-) If anyone can tell me how much lpn (rpn) earns after taxes? For example if you get 25$/h and you work 160h/month, that would be 160x25=4000$ So roughly,how much income would be ? Thanx !
