  1. thanks everyone for the words of advice, I'm working 7am-7pm, right now but next week I shift to nights. I wrote down a list of questions to ask when I go back tuesday, lol so maybe I will be more prepared.
  2. Hi everyone, first post here. I just graduated in May and passed boards last week, I'm VERY lucky to have already gotten a job on an Acute Care med/surg floor. I just wanted to see if it is normal to feel COMPLETELY lost. Not necessarily with skills or even medications, but the policies and paperwork just seem overwhelming, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be signing off or having the patient sign. What I'm supposed to fax here or file there. I'm only on my second week of orientation, but I just feel like I shouldn't be this nervous all the time. Hoping it isn't an uncommon feeling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks so much!
