  1. In the 90's for English/reading parts and math 88%. For me, math is hard, but the test isn't that bad. Overall I got a 92%.
  2. Besafe, did the 1200 applicants include both traditional and CD2?
  3. There should be a practice book for sale in the bookstore. Don't know what it is called. There isn't much but you can try this site to get an idea: http://www.nursing-exams.ca/practice/readingcomp.html Also, you could try the learning lab. Hope this helps. When are you taking the exam?
  4. It isn't the NET, they switched to the HESI and you need 75% or more in each part. I got on the wait list in Jan '11. My # is around 840 and they take 320 people a year. So, 3 years sounds right.
  5. To Aarin80: The reason so much importance is placed on GPA, especially for the few science classes, is that those who get the highest grades without needing to repeat for a higher grade, tend to have better success in completing nursing school. 6. The test includes Reading comprehension: word meanings, conclusions, implications, understanding, Grammar, Vocab & general knowledge. You read a few paragraphs and it will ask you what is the main idea or what is implied when they say ...
  7. I took the test in Jan. It was not a big deal. Reading comprehension, grammar, math- decimals, mixed fractions, measurements. We did not have to answer any personality questions. I am sure whatever you have studied for the NET will prepare you for Hesi as well.
