yeah i just am interested in psychology. i wanted to get a degree in it, but theres lil job opportunity/money unless you're a psychiatrist....is there anything i could do that would help me get hired at such a hospital > another applicant? or are nurses that work there usually just a typical nurse who applied

currently a community college student..

or a childrens hospital. preferably a psych type hospital because i think it would be much more interesting, and i feel like it is what i would prefer to do. what would be the best thing to do for either of these...just get my RN degree? i have like a 2 year wait in my community college program once i am on the list...would it be worth taking some other classes there that would benefit me? suggestions/tips/ideas would be appreciated

current GCC student...1 more class till i can get on the list
ahhh dang lol. i need one chemistry class for pre reqs...the co reqs can be done during the wait right? also what if one was to fail a nursing class, does the wait start over? i don't plan to fail but i mean i'm still curious

did anyone fail any of their nursing classes? (i'm going for RN)
i was just nervous i'd have to rewait the 1.5-2 year wait. is there anyway on getting passed those community college waits? i'm a pharmacy tech in a non retail pharmacy and was wondering if my boss could get me in

i'm doing it at a community college because of the money issue....but there is typically a wait list...what if i fail sometime during it...do i need to rewait? start over? can i just retake it next semester? do most people go through nursing school without failing a course? i believe the actual program is just 4 semesters of nursing (after the prereqs to get in)

how hard is the math in nursing programs? how about the HESI exam?
i'm probably gonna go thru a community college for my nursing....debating on getting an LPN and going straight to the 3/4 semester without going on the waiting list...or waiting on the list and take semesters 1-4....i have one more pre req...what is a co req?

i just need one more class till i can get on the wait list through maricopa community college programs. i'm currently attending GCC. i've been at gcc for 4 years because i was unsure what i wanted to do, and i didn't want to stop going, and also i got to stay on my parents insurance. i do have a low gpa, at about 2.5 because of some BSing at the beginning of school. anyways all i need is fundamentals of chemistry....i've taken bio 156, and 201...and from what i understand 202 and 205 can be taken while you're waiting. i've just been going off the check sheet and taking classes accordingly. does GPA have anything to do with getting accepted? is there anything i can to speed up the 2+ year wait list? i'm currently working as a pharmacy tech at a non-retail pharmacy and someone told me i could get my employer (the owner) to move me up on the list. i pretty much have everything needed except chemistry130...and then the bio 202 and 205....so after this semester of chemistry i plan to sign up for the wait list to for AAS for RN any tips/suggestions?
