  1. It's both experienced RN's and new grads. So, don't know how much of a chance new grads really have...
  2. Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the tips and info! I prepared for all possibilities of questions, but was basically asked none of them...and was offered the job this past Monday!!!!! Now I just have to hope I get my letter of eligibility for my NCLEX in time for me to schedule and take it, because I start 8/1-eeep! I am starting to panic. If anyone has any advice about this (as in how long it takes to schedule, how long letters take after grad, or how long delays are with previously rejected fingerprints, etc.) PLEASE let me know!
  3. Thanks so much for the info! I remember them saying they wouldn't contact anyone until the end of the month, and that there were a huge amount of applicants due to the small amount of programs like this in the U.S...Good luck!!! :)
  4. Hey everyone, I have an interview on a telemetry unit next week. Anyone have any tips, or know what questions they might ask me? I had no technical questions in my last interview (just behavioral, for OR), but I am sure there will be some this time. Obviously I am anticipating cardiac questions, but I am a new grad (although with cardiac experience)-so I just want to know if anyone could give me any specific ones they think might be asked/they were asked. Any help would be much appreciated. Already getting nervous! Thanks!:)
  5. Yes, i personally know of two people with ADN that got hired this cohort.
  6. Ugh!! I feel like it must be bad that I only got 3 questions, although my int was the last of the day... I also only ended up being interviewed by 2, bc the other 2 couldn't make it!
  7. Did anyone (esp new grads) interview for the OR last week? I did and I am pretty sure it went terribly. I should have done more research on the questions beforehand...I had thought of examples and answers to questions that were not asked, and was asked questions I had not thought of-although looking back I should have! Plus I was only asked 3...I was so nervous/disappointed with myself that I don't remember when they said they would call for second interviews? I don't think this will apply to me, but trying to stay positive!!:redpinkhe
