  1. Thanks Now or never! I am sure your right, there's still plenty more time. Depression at this point is still premature. As for face book, I think I may be the only one left on this planet who doesn't have an account... Last name starts with a Y.
  2. Guess who's HAPPY this morning!!!! Check your holds everyone!!! mine just changed.. Caught me by total surprise, I did not expect any changes this early in the morning...
  3. Anyone know what letter we're up to?
  4. For all those who still need Hep B shots: I just got my first one. So far this is the least expensive place I found... It cost $48 for each shot (UTH clinic charges $60). 8000 North Stadium Drive, Houston, TX 832 393 5174 No appointment necessary, but call to confirm hours of practice. (I think its a HHSC clinic) If anyone knows of an even cheaper option, please let us know!
  5. @amby, I just got off the phone with my elementary school... According to the nurse that I spoke to, the requirement for the Hep b shot was only enacted for those who were born after 1987, so if you were born before then, you most probably did not get one... Hope that helps
  6. Oh Lord! My last name starts with a Y! Have to stay off the thread for a while so I don't go insane! Congrats everyone!
  7. Thanks now or never, I was just really upset about my CT score, I was expecting more from myself in that area... And yes, although I'm sure there's plenty more out there, those that are posting are probably a decent size scoop from the top of the pot.
  8. Hey guys, I finally decided to suck it up and post my stats (at the bottom). I'm not too proud of them, so it took me a while... 9. I called this morning and was told that if I start now, I will have two done by the time school starts and that will be enough to be accepted. Also, if you know you've had them done, you can just take the titer instead, which shows that you are immune to the virus. Since this option costs almost as much as taking all three shots though, you would only want to do it if your absolutely sure you got the shots. Also for the record, unlike the student affairs office, I got through to the health department on first call and and they answered all my questions (number is on UTlink next to hold). Good luck!
  10. Saraiish, when I spoke to an admissions counselor, she told me that the average accepted GPA is 3.7. If I were you I would call myself, this way you can ask if there are other ways to increase your chances. So far, the counselors I have spoken to were very helpful. On another note, have any other spring 2012 applicants taken their hesi yet? I am curious to know what the standards are this year.
