  1. No hospital policy. Is it completely unhelpful to say ASAP, my ER seem to always be waiting on beds or orders or something like that so a specific goal has never needed to be set the the ER staff. But we have goals for the floors and admitting docs. 30 min from diagnosis to admission orders, 30min for orders to floor.
  2. I agree with taking the PCU job. I have been a ER nurse for 3 years and many programs I have contacted want me to have ICU/CCU. I'm sure your could get experience taking care of critical care patients in periop, but you have to think of your application in relationship to everyone else. Hope You Get It!!!
  3. CCRN is a great idea!! Don't forget a great GRE score. Good Luck!!
