  1. Thanks HeatherL! I hate internet explorer but thats probably why its not working on Mozilla haha. I will so try it. Thanks!!!!
  2. Thanks!!! Its weird I can see my classes (not on BB) but not my email. I hope the help desk helps me lol Do I need a different pw for my email? if thats all I need to do then I will so do it Thanks!!!
  3. I finally got registered but I am not sure how to log into the new system or access things. I am not sure how to view email (something about microsoft live?) How long after your got confirmed that you were registered that you could see your classes. It says I am registered but nothing more is viewable. Any help is appreciated!
  4. I got my uniforms, not sure if its because I went to the one store since I couldnt go to the fitting. I hope we hear soon where we will be placed at in clinicals. I hope I get to log in soon. Sent in my deposit and now just waiting for them to cash it so I can get registered.
  5. I used something called responseware on my ipod before and while its useful, unless a professor knows how to set up the codes, its pointless. Since I spent a whole lot on ebooks from my previous program, I am not buying any books lol I got 34 books to use and there are very little differences so unless absolutely necessary, I will not buy anymore!
  6. I got confirmation today that I am Confirmed-Compliant. In the notes section up top has what they still need. It kept saying my CPR was not there but I had to call and let them know what document it was under aka KRD CPR Signed. They are fairly helpful at American Data Ban. I am so glad I will be starting with you all this fall!

  8. That sounds great to me! I believe you already have my email but I will email you again :) Kathleen
  9. For the items such as the stethoscope, pen light, shoes I do suggest getting them elsewhere. I went to one of the stores today and ordered my shirts and jacket, so happy that I get to wear the exact same pants lol Life Uniform has the Cherokee pants (or they were Cherokee at the Flynn and O'Hara I was at) for a little cheaper. Even the girl from Flynn said to get the pants and white t-shirt elsewhere.
  10. Oh also Life Uniform sometimes has good deals on supplies, shoes etc. my shoes are really comfortable and I got them half off.
  11. Thats great! Having already done a clinical, they are fun. The hands on part is much better than the classroom part haha
  12. Hey all, I am officially starting in the fall as well!! I emailed Kristen and she said for those that could not come today you will get the flyer and also can go to any of their stores. Since I had a stethoscope, shoes etc from my other program I am glad I dont have to get them lol I was hoping to go but due to an emergency I could not make it. I also hope I can wear my navy scrub pants as well. One less thing to buy...
  13. Sure, I will message you my email. I now can send and receive them lol
  14. My name is Kathleen. And after slowly explaining to my physician's office, they now understand lol I get my last PPD done in two weeks (hoping to convince them that since I got my two step last year can I just turn in the one step but doubtful) I am just not sure how to enter everything. It says I am non-compliant but I am like still no clearances sent back yet, drug test done today and waiting on blood work. I am like give me two weeks American Data Bank lol I found a cheap plan through IBC but I am sure the $174 will jump up if I do apply for it lol
  15. It can get expensive living in Center City and surrounding areas. Alot from the Spring live in Jersey and I commuted from the Northeast. It all depends about how much you are willing to spend. The subway and the El are fine as well as Regional rail and PATCO. Studios near Rittenhouse cna cost $1200 per month and Northern Liberties where a lot live can range that high as well. Do a lot of research first but also realize that your clinicals are going to be everywhere so make sure you have reliable transportation.
