  1. Hi Loui - I am currently in the two semester RN-BSN program, I've almost completed semester one (November 30th/Finals)! YES! 15 hrs are hard to take in one semester, but it can be done. Books, hold on: there are a lot of books, cost me about $800 (one semester and tutition was about $4025.00). BUT the books are needed and very helpful for future endeavors. I so love, love Texas Tech. All the Professors I have had classes with are awesome. So can't really help you there - I think whoever you get, will be a great teacher. Any more questions, no problem, just let me know, I can give you my email if you like, sincerely, judy
  2. It depends on how many classes you want to take at one time. I have some friends at work who are attending UTA (RN to BSN) and most are taking one class at a time (five to six weeks classes) due to working full-time. My friends report it will take them about 13 to 16 months to complete. This is why I wanted to attend Texas Tech, two semesters and done (I was accepted in the Fall 2011 class). So my graduation date is May 20, 2012. Hope this helps.
  3. I've been accepted too....OMG, OMG :yeah:Cant wait to meet y'all on August 15th, SO HAPPY!!!
  4. Still waiting too......
  5. Thanks for the info, guess we will know by next Wednesday, July 6th if we are in or out. Please post back either way so we all can either celebrate or cry (or a least some of us may cry).
  6. thanks mllnjll, waiting game continues.....
  7. Hi mllnjll - hopefully all this confusion will be cleared up soon ;-) did ***** state when the offers may come out? BUT thanks for the update!
  8. So happy for you drich! Congratulations! Still waiting for the news (in or out), hopefully I will hear something soon......jsmitc
  9. thanks drich for the update, no news (email) yet.....jsmitc
  10. I hear you - when I get news too - I will let you know my status. thanks jsmitc
  11. thanks millnjll, just curious how long the waiting period is until receiving an email from Texas Tech stating either you are in or out (why I sent out the blog, hoping to see if anyone else had been accepted yet). I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait until the deadline (June 15th) so I am working on my back-up plan. Probably go to UTEP this Fall, if I don't get into Texas Tech. Do you have a back-up plan millnjll? My Merlin account/application states "completed" for sending in the information -- no status other then that. jsmitc
  12. Trying to find out if any RNs had been accepted into the Texas Tech RN-BSN Fall 2011 program. Application deadline is June 15, 2011 and I have submitted my application and now I am waiting and waiting. Wondering if anyone has been contacted/accepted into the program (received an email of acceptance) yet? thanks
