Looking for advice on LVN program from CCI in Garden Grove
I decided not to go to CCI. They didn't offer financial aid and i don't think they're accredited...i could be wrong though. I just can't remember exactly. I decided to go to Pacific College in Costa Mesa and now in my second term. The cost is higher, but they're accredited and provide financial aid and i qualified for grants which brought the actual cost down closer to the cost of CCI. Good luck to you!

California Career Institute LVN PROGRAM
i just stumbled across them while researching online. i went by CCI today. they don't offer financial aid, which i have to have. you can apply for a private sallye mae loan. so, now i'm going to visit CNI and Pacific tomorrow. i like stanbridge too. i visited them a couple of years ago, but i'd prefer a school closer. i live in long beach. have you found a school yet?

Which is better...Pacific or CNI??
i'm trying to decide between the two. pacific is about 6k cheaper. i've read bad posts concerning both schools...but, i don't have much of a choice. my dilemma is i work full-time m-f from 8-5pm, so i need a school that offers evening classes. also, i need a school that provides financial aid as well. i plan to go on to earn my rn. i've heard it's best to go for your rn and skip the lvn program...does anyone know of a school that offers evening classes? any advice would help!

California Career Institute LVN PROGRAM
18 months. most that i have come across are 29k-35k. preferred college of nursing in long beach is $20,500 for 18 months...this would have been ideal since i live in long beach, but their start time is 4pm and i work until 5pm. have you heard anything about CCI? i'm going there tomorrow to check them out.

Looking for advice on LVN program from CCI in Garden Grove
I've been looking into all the schools in my area (long beach, ca). I've come across CCI (California Career Institute) in Garden Grove and they're accredited, private offering evening classes for $19,500. Their pass rate is 75% for last year and 40% for this year with only 5 people have taken the test. I guess my question is this...should that be a concern? I really can't afford the other schools which are running $29,000-$35,000. I plan to continue on for RN and don't want to have a huge bill at the end. I'd love to go to a community college for the RN program, but none of them offer evening classes, which I have to have since I work in the day. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jen

mvillotti - i was wondering if you ever signed up with CCI? i, too, was planning to visit the school this week. i've been checking around a lot and they seem to be the least expensive for part-time, evening classes. thanks!
