no CCRN...even worth it to apply?
get as much experience as possible as it will only help. Why not get your CCRN before you apply? You will be eligible to sit for your exam around the same time as you will be applying. You can also apply without it and express your intent of taking the examination.

Student Health Insurance Question
Does anyone know if blue cross/blue shield still offers a student plan via the AANA? If so where can I find information on it? I start school in august and lose health insurance in April. Thanks!

CRNA's working with AA's
They were commenting on what they have come across with the AAs they've seen in practice, not ALL AAs. Get your panties unbunched And stop being so defensive :)

That is definitely expensive, I think I'd rather take the course this fall than shell out that money right before school.

I finished both online. the NY licensing website has a list of providers. The Child Abuse class takes 2 hours. The infection control course is not timed. You must read and take a test for both. Now, searching for a public notary

Making progress in reaching my goal
Your GPA is not that bad. I'd be more concerned with experience. Best of luck. Remember to continue seeking experiences in your ICU.. Even if it is not your patient, you can still learn!!! That's how I got in with 2 yrs ohu/icu

Need some advice...
Don't worry about the interviewer knowing... It shows you have goals and you are open and honest about it. It'll pay off in the end

I lived in Wilkes barre for college, not exactly the best place. Kingston or edwardsville would be ok or even some of the smaller towns between both like Pittston ( I think that's the town i am thinking of)

Anyone know of a nursing research this summer? And I guess it would depend how far you are willing to drive.. If you can take the turnpike every day it would be a 1hr 20 minute drive... I'm going to try it for a while, see how it goes. I know CRNAs who have done the haul.

Ok, so the accreditation will be final in august. They said there should not be a problem because the program structure is not changing. This fall, class may still be held at the hospital (where the interview took place). Overall they are confident the accreditation will go through, especially because they had the 10 yr accreditation granted last year. They only need to be re-accredited because they are technically a "new" program being the sole provider.

I took one course at scranton and one course at another school where I had been accepted already (dont think it will transfer), just make sure they will transfer. It is a good idea. I would like to take a research course but idk where one is being offered that will transfer.
