Just wanted to give a Heads up to all my LPN classmates the PHCC events calendar has the tommorows orientation for 7:30 am !!! not 8:00am I hope you all recieve this message and so excited to see everyone tommorow YAYAYAYAY!!!

I hope you guys are using the TEAS V Study guide because the Teas 4.0 and V are two toatally different tests. The TEas V seems to give people a much harder time as a matter of fact 90% achive a 85 on Teas 4.0 as a composite score but only 79.3 achive the same on the TEAS V...as a matter of fact an 85% on the TEAS V would put you in the 97% tile of all test takers in the nation.

Thats where I got the class from the Amercian Heart Associations website lol..lol this guy was a former Fire Commisioner for Spring Hill great class everyone seriously great:yeah:

I just completed all my physical and tb, titers I just got my results back from all too so Im done with that just gotta go and do my pee test then im 100% complete.BLS Class: if you call 352-597-8875 Speak with Bob Kanner he teaches the class every 1st and 3rd Thrusday of the month for $20!!! at the Brooksville Regional Hospital Medical arts bldg located in the same place as the hospital ...you get your card at the end of class it's from 6pm to 10pm and he is awesome:yeah:

I did I already went to it and freind requested lol..lol hey the clinic near me is $200 for everything:yeah: Im just waiting on my titers to come back I went this morning to get my TB check then next Thursday I do my pee pee test and I am officially done with everything for orientation printed signed and sealed in order of the check list:yeah::yeah: LOl..LOL If you need any info my email is [email protected] . ***, they wouldnt have you in the system I dont think until orientation as being in LPN program unless they have some different system...I have my letter as proof and I did get my letters all the same day on July1st(love that day was my baby's 3rd birthday) I went to the school on Tuesday at 8:03am I arrived with letter in hand and gave it to them they didnt check in the system ...did you go to Administration bldg??? they just took the letter and gave me a copy they recieved it ...I then went to the nursing dept to hand in proof of payment for drug screening and they gave me the form to bring to Quest...Barton please let me know whats going on...I leave the forum for a few days to get all the stuff in my packet done and study for my math exam and you guys built a whole city while I was away Tinker and you lol..lol how many on here are in our class??

Okay my checklist is almost complete just the physical(no suprise lol) so Im goinig to call the health department to see what they would charge me to do it there otherwise the walk in clinic by me does the whole package for $200 and from what I heard that is really a good price. All other things on list complete one I finish the physical I am ready for round one Orientation lol..lol

Heck yeah you can get financial aid ....lol..I know it's overwhelimingly happy and all that mixed together...Were Classmates yay...lol and headed down the same path all the way too!! I know your going to bridge right?? I cant wait this is the biggest emotional rollercoaster I have ever ever been on...yesterday crying like a baby to today Yelling like I was at a Maroon 5 concert lol..

Thank You Isaiah , if you dont mind what was your TEAS score to get in the LPN program? or what was the lowest you heard got in??? Congratulations by the way I fully intend on doing just what you said:redbeathe Today was a very very bad day for me I havent cried this much since I was a teenager.

Tink I am so glad it's not just me I was starting to wonder if I was obsessing to much lol..lol I havent been sleeping either and when I wake up even just to pee the worry is right back again. I guess we are both to the point where this is our time for our path to our goal...this is THE next step and if we dont suceed Im a little lost as what my next step is ...I will continue taking classes to fulfill the other requirments but this is the biggie step nursing credits...the other stuff is needed but is small in comparasion lol..I really really hope you and all of us here on this forum has claps , hearts.jumping purple smiley guy and thumbs ups to post next to our comments lol :redpinkhe and not..... :crying2:oh yeah and this :p:coollook::jester:but not this

I didnt hear anything about looking at individual subject scores??? whats that all about lol..seems kinda of sucky in a way cuz if they go to our transcripts the get to see our best score for each individual subject not from just one test:heartbeat:heartbeat

Tinker your not the only one who found it difficult alot of people in general not just PHCC did and they didnt meet minimum requirements for the app Im hoping that will be our saving grace that not alot of people applyed because they didnt anticipate the difficulty of the exam and did not meet minimum to apply and we will all get in lol..lol I took the TEAS 5 and scored better on that than the TEas 4...I actually got a 100 on the Human Body section...but the whole descision comes down to who applyed..how many applied at least this go around there are 48 openings so if there are 400 applicants we all fall within the 12% range if there are 400 Im hoping only 300 applyed...If anybody finds out how many applicants there where I would love to know and refigure my calcualtions lol..lol

There are two Teas a Teas 4 and a Teas 5 last year they gave the Teas 4 This year the Teas 5 I know that the Teas 5 is a much more difficult exam when compared to the Teas 4 and the 90% on the Teas 5 gives you a 79 as a composite score ...and an 85 is the 90% for the Teas 4 lol..but like I said I would be extremly shocked if you dont get in and Im assuming you have residency?? with a 4.0 gpa and a 85 teas and residency your rank percent is 92.50% which is a sure win lol..depending on how many applicants applyed and what their TEAS Scores are and from what Ive heard from others is not that high:yeah::redbeathe

I did weeks ago but I put my app in on May 31st so I wasnt suprised it was like a week later ..I had a dream last nite I got a letter from PHCC and was ready to vomitt and then my husband opened it and it wasnt about the programs lol..lol..Im dreaming about this stuff now lol..I need to take it down a few notches lol..

OMG i just typed a whole message and it deleted lol..lol I know how you feel believe me I know every day all I think about is my future postion at PHCC this August.. Im praying hard that I get in either one of the programs Ive never felt so ready in my life to begin gaining my nursing credits. I hope to one day be a DNP and am taking classes for that but I want to get in the acutal nursing credit part already..Just taking my CPR class last week made me excited that's how ready I am lol..lol

It's simple you take 50% Teas Score 45% GPA and 5% residency and Viola! your ranking score...but remember your score can easily fall within the range of the 48 applicants for this upcoming admittance it all depends on where the highest rank starts and how many in each rank above that your's may be the higest starting rank it all depends on others scores. :) I actually already took the liberty of scoring your GPA accurately but your Teas is the only number I took as the rounded version

So that gives you an overall rank score of 87.42% to get in the RN program. If your TEAS score is exactly an 80 the scores have to be exact to figure it out otherwise there off a bit lol..lol..
