  2. absolutely!! and def congratulations to all who got in! everyone deserved it and worked hard I get it. pave the road for us!
  3. hey! I am here. I was not offered a spot for acute care - but I a VERY low...but OLD GPA on my record. I was thrilled to have gotten and interview - and knew from the get go that I would reapply with some "a" classes as proof under my belt! was so close!! not discouraged though. was anyone who got in a reapplicant? to the best of my knowledge there was not a wait list for acute care specialty. so I think it's officially over for this year. i went in believing I would be an aprn in either 3 years or 4. 4 it is!
  4. I am really struggling with the jitters! sweaty palms and all! swamped at work but not enough to keep my mind from wandering back to our news! less than 24 hours...
  5. i usuallydon't drink because I am a runner and I feel sluggish in the morning after even one glass of wine - tonight...and tomorrow night...I might down a couple glasses! pros and cons are obvious!
  6. I thought study fit just perfectly! we are one night of sleep closer!!
  7. I have printed out my essay to read over again! reminding myself of what I presented as and what they might possibly be looking at still!! oy! oy! oy!
  8. agreed clovette!!I'm going at this one hour at a time.
  9. I just had a heart attack - when I saw the email from Yale in my inbox I was CERTAIN the decisions were early!!!! wowzers. still breathing, but barely!
  10. I need distractions!!!! what are the chances we hear early?! wouldn't that just be delightful?! and we wouldn't even know to be anxious!!
  11. I'm SO glad to have the workweek distraction!!
  12. i am catching myself drifting more and more back into the world of "what IF, i really do get in...?!" some of us will embark on a new life journey starting on thursday! and some of us will continue doing what we are doing...continuing to move forward. and maybe someday (a year?!) be back to start down that road. i am trying to just stay excited for the moment either way - this is the peak of a whole mountain of work and preparation! this group is the only group in the world who can relate! days are going by - sometimes way slower than others.
  13. I emailed Melissa a few days ago to make sure I was all set with fanancial aid - in her response, she wrote the following: "Yes, it seems we are still on the path to March 1 notifications.* No final decisions have been made yet, we are still in a folder review stage."I thought I'd share!
  14. I'm really starting to feel it again. had been doing well with keeping my brain occupied - now its all creeping back in.I can't wait to know!!!good luck all.
  15. I'd be commuting from Guilford - about 20 min. I already commute by train daily from Guilford to new haven - so nothing would change for me! aside for my career!!!!! fingers crossed!
