I have been nervous all week....I start my ADN nursing program in 5 days! I have organized a 'library' for myself in my dining room, established a schedule for class/studying/exercise/and a tiny amount of a social life, read almost every website about nursing school, and purchased all the school supplies I could find at Office Max. Nothing is making me feel prepared! My mom used to teach nursing at a private college in the area, but even that doesn't help me get a picture of what my life will be like for the next 2 years. It is such a strange feeling to know that I am going to be with my classmates, 40 students, doing something so totally different than I have ever experienced in college. Even though I am nervous about the new beginning and enjoying my last few days of leisure, I am so excited to begin. My fellow classmates and everyone on this board who is also just beginning are in for a rollercoaster ride. I hope that we are all able to find support here throughout. Good luck to everyone!
