  1. Hello I would like to inquire if anyone can share any information regarding the Human Resource Department of your facility. Does your facility have a HR Department/Coordinator and what are their responsiblities? Is this a FT or PT position? I am presently the Staff Development Coordinator for a 120 bed Acute Rehab/LTC responsible for Orientation, Inservice/Continuing Education and all aspects of HR from the receiving of an application, scheduling the interviews, interviewing viable candidates and than processing background checks, references etc. I am finding this is extremely time consuming, deterring from my other responsibilities;Staff Education,Annual Competencies,Orientation and Employee Health. I would truly appreciate any suggestions /feedback... Thanks in advance for you thoughts!
