  1. jpie78: the e-mail said that my financial aid info should be available on the albert site within 3 business days. so i guess i probably won't know until monday. msnee: i have my undergrad degree in chemistry and my gpa was 3.02. i never calculated my gpa just for the pre-req classes, but i got A's and B's on those. i don't have any direct clinical experience. i'm pretty sure they e-mail all decisions, regardless of what that decision is.
  2. i'm a bit late for this thread. mainly because i applied on a whim and submitted my app the day it was due, so i didn't think i'd get in. but i woke up this morning to an e-mail saying i was accepted. at first i was excited. then i started worrying about it. whether the money, the debt i would incur and the relocation was worth it. i've been reading through a bunch of these threads all morning, hoping that it'll make my decision easier. good luck to everyone
  3. Patty actually told me after we were finished the interview portion of our meeting that I was going to be accepted and to expect a formal letter in the mail soon. I just got that letter today! I agree, Patty was such a friendly person that I felt very at ease throughout my interview. It was more like a casual conversation. P.S. Did anyone read the article in the current "Philadelphia" magazine? They asked a panel of local nurses to address a few concerns patients have, like whether or not it's okay to ask a lot of questions. I thought it was a fairly good article, and I actually know one of the nurses they spoke to!
  4. I mailed my application on 4/21. Patty called me that Monday (4/25) to set up an interview, and I interviewed that Thursday (4/28). It was a really quick turnaround, probably because I waited so long to turn in my application. Good luck!
