  1. I think they can require different things like things to fulfill the BSN only my mom did the bridge and she didn't have to retake anything even though some was old and outdated just had to take some other classes that simply weren't required when she got her associates forever and ever ago. haha

Waiting is terrible! I mean really actually letters?!?! Get with the times email is definitely the way to go!!! I'm probably going to scare my mail man if the letter doesn't come real soon!! If I get in then I'm taking Intro to Prof Nursing over the summer. Didn't want to waste the $ if I didn't get accepted! Heard anything about that class? I read on rate my prof that is pretty boring. I was hoping it would be a little bit interesting.

I heard early May...hopefully by the end of this week! Someone said May 1st but that was a Sunday so maybe they meant the 2nd and we will have them tomorrow or Thurs.
  4. I checked into the RN to MSN and I don't think that the programs offered are what I want to do. At least as far as I can tell. I want to ultimately be a Nurse Practitioner and I UTA doesn't offer the program I want to do online only on campus. I think for that kind of learning I would much rather be in the classroom and at the hospital in clinicals trying to absorb as much as I can. I'm much better at learning and retaining information that way versus online classes. Now online stuff for busy work classes are amazing! I took several but for this kind of stuff I think I just couldn't do it. Alum what kind of MSN are you looking into?
  5. Thanks! I'm so excited! Good luck to you SugarMagnolia! Have you been to see the advisors at UTA? If not I would definitely recommend if you wanna apply there. You are right El Centro does have two I took the RNSG one and it transfers. It was the only one that I had to take over though Pharm transfered from Brookhaven. Wherever you go it's a start and if you want to go further you can make it!! Lupe are you the same Lupe from our FB page? I bet so! haha I was planning on doing the same thing...Brookhaven then bridge with UTA but then I noticed I only needed a few more hours at UTA to get my BSN than I needed at Brookhaven for my ADN. So I took a shot at it and applied if I don't get in then oh well it wasn't mean to be and I'll be doing their bridge program later. I've heard Tech's programs are really awesome! Are you planning on moving or do they offer online bridge? Congrats to you for your acceptance as well!! It's such a relief to finally get accepted and know that all of our hard work has paid off!! Haha Now the real hard work starts!!! Here we come!!
  6. I took Patho at Brookhaven and at el centro...El Centro's is 3 credit hours and what UTA requires so that was why I had to retake it after taking Brookhaven's! If you are planning on transferring it then Brookhaven's will not work but El Centro will. I just joined allnurses today I'm excited! I've been reading y'alls comments forever and never got around to joining! I'm Heather by the way! Brookhaven Fall 2011 unless I get an acceptance letter from UTA! :)

I had a problem with HESI scores too. My advisor sent me a message saying they had not received them but then the next morning sent me an email stating they 'found' them and I was still in consideration for Fall semester. I'm so nervous and I just wish they would send out letters already. I asked her when they were planning on sending them out and she simply said early May. I was already accepted to the Brookhaven program but I would rather go to UTA for my BSN and get it over with. I can't wait to finally have an answer so I can start making plans!!
