  1. Hi, My name is Angela, and I will be attending the South Day program this fall. I too am a returning student with a BS in biology and a Masters degree in Public Administration. I currently work in the nursing school at West Virginia University, working with faculty members on writing grant applications. I do have lots of insight into the ways nursing faculty operate and think, but I am anxious about the practical side of nursing. Most of the people I work with are more into research. I did take microbiology this semester at Allegheny (since my course was over 10 years old) with some current students. They gave me some insight into what the program is like. It's nice to see so many people from South Day on here. I'm not surprised that it took Boyce longer to get their packets out. My husband teaches math there, and one of his colleagues (who works as an advisor) said they were even extending the application deadline to June 1st because they didn't receive enough qualified applicants. I was a little surprised by that. BTW, I just sent a request to join the Facebook group. Hope to meet some of you on June 15th when we have registration.
