Hello Everyone! I am about to start the nursing program in August and I am all stress about the cost and how I will manage. Any advice on how to make some extra cash while in school? Did you work a part time job? How hard was it to manage it? I don't know but I am super excited that I got accepted but all the little details are starting to overwhelm me... Any advice will be appreciated!

I have my 4 year degree and decided to go for a BSN program, a ABSN track was never a option. I just couldn't go backwards in my mind, I figured if I wanted to be a nurse I would go for the BSN option. I was told with a BSN you are more likely to get the critical care jobs and the be more competitive, not to mention having two degrees you will be paid higher. I wish you luck in the decision. It was a very difficult decision for me.

Yay congratulations !! I only bought the first book the one to help with testing techniques. so far so good and I also bought a book to help with dosage calculations. Which section did u pick? I am in the second session... I am so excited!!!!

Hi Mari71089, I was also missing two classes but I took them in a short semester and only have biomedical ethics left. I spoke to the counselor and she said their was plenty of seats left for the august semester, I think you should be fine. Good luck!

I just got accepted into the Barry program that starts in august 2011. Anyone else starting in the fall? Also any tips for getting ready for the program?? Thanks in advance.
