Confused!
Hello everyone! I live in Boston and currently attend Bunker Hill Community College. I have ALL my pre reqs completed except for the classes I am taking this semester- A&P2 and Stats. Microbiology will be taken my first semester in the Nursing program in January if all goes well. I am a little concerned about the Nursing program at my school though- I wanted to ask if anyone knew of other great and affordable school that have good programs that will accept transfered credits. I know it is highly encouraged to apply for more than one program. Also wondering if the program itself is good. I have heard many remarks that when someone applies to work at a hospital, they dont usually like to take BHCC students- I will of course be transferring out after my two years (& I also need to find a good 4yr college soon!) but I think that the school is good from the time Ive been there- Only sucky thing is the amount of students. I am scheduled to take my TEAS Oct. 25th so Id like to apply to some school programs before then! Any insight/ advice would greatly be appreciated!

Pre-nursing student - some advice?
As for needing all As to get into the nursing program at bhcc, I know that that its untrue. Ive spoken to numerous advisors. it does look better on your transcript, definitely. I have a GPA of 3.7.. This is the first class I feel like a total fail at but I know that I am an intelligent girl.. We had about 4 snow days and my peofessor rushed through sooo much. I know I can get a B or a C.. But its the whole mastering a&p for myseld that is bothering me. A&p is a major part of nursing. I think that I have just overwhelmed myself with my daughter, school, and work. Finding a balance is key and I know it isnt impossible! Thanks for the advice everyone!

Pre-nursing student - some advice?
Hello to all! I am new to this site & have done alot of article searching for words of advise/ wisdome.. I am currently a student at BHCC (Bunker Hill Community College). Ive basically taken all my pre-reqs for the nursing program except: English 112, Microbio., and A&P2. I am currently in A&P1 but I feel as if I am not learning what i should. I say this is on both parts- my professor & mine- I work 30+ hrs a week and take two other classes (Human Growth and development:psych & Drug Calc. I know that I need to put MORE time into my A&P studies! To be completely honest, I have a D in this class right now . I know I can pass if I work extra hard until the semesters over. I am just a bit discouraged because A&P is like a foreign language to me.. but Ive ordered a few books (The anatomy & physiology coloring book & Marieb's Anatomy and physiology coloring book: a complete study guide) in hopes to better grasp each concept. I want to register for A&P2, but Im not too fond of picking random professors. There is a professor I'd like to take since the one I am currently taking A&P1 with wont teach A&P2 Fall Semester. There is a hybrid course I am looking into but I am thinking, If i am having a little difficultly now with A&P1, would it really be that smart to take a hybrid A&P2 (even though ive read awesome reviews about the professor). I take it very hard when I receive a low grade, as my lowest grade since I've started school has been a C+.vA little advice?
