I looked, but I don't think anyone has started a Facebook page yet. I think that would be a great way for all of us to stay connected and have a little support system when the semester gets tough! Thanks! I went there but didn't find very many that fit me . I'm 5'1" and almost none of the pants were short enough. But they have a huge selection! So if anyone is looking for scrubs try there :) they have a petite section too! Unfortunately I still have to get my pants hemmed but I would suggest them! And you get 10% off as a student!

Hey y'all! I was looking for shoes and found several pairs of nikes that are mostly white with grey trim and a grey check! I would suggest lady footlocker (sorry guys, I didn't look at men's haha). I wanted to get athletic shoes so that I could wear them for more than just class :) hope that helps! Have any of you Purchased scrubs yet?

Hi Jaime :) I haven't even looked at book pricing yet, I will be doing that this week for sure! Thank you so much for your insight on all of that! HUGE Help!! I'm going to look at shoes tomorrow (I'm at home visiting the parents and they are just as excited as I am to start nursing so they want to be apart of something! Lol) not sure where to really start looking, I'm just going to get a plain pair of running shoes or something. Does anyone know how much our patches are going to cost? Thanks!! I haven't looked up prices on books outside of the bookstore yet, if I find anything cheaper I will post! I hope there is a less expensive way to get them! Hi everyone! I was looking on the website trying to find the 2012-2013 handbook, but can only find the 2011 and 2010 handbooks. Have any of you been able to locate the one we need to read over? Luna- I feel the same way about scrubs!! Lol it will all feel real when we put those on! Woohoo!

Asnhopeful, I am in the same boat with financial aid, I plan on going to talk to the financial aid counselor on Monday. I'll let you know what they say we should do :)

I agree, marta1408, there are always going to be negative comments and thoughts about any program, thats when you have to do your own research and decide for yourself. I have always had great communication with UF, mr. Foote is always willing to email back when I had questions or set up an appointment when I needed to come in to talk about the program.

There was last year, I assume there will be one this year :)

Keep your chin up, hopefully this waiting will all add up to you getting in, and the excitement will come right back into your system :)

Hi all! I am in the same boat as some of you, I applied last year and did not get in. I had low GRE scores, but will be taking the GRE again to try and bring that portion of my application up. I am hoping to have better luck this time around! This website eases my nerves a lot to know that there are other people going through the same issues I have been. Hi everyone! I met with ken earlier this week and sadly found out that I was not accepted nor waitlisted I'm going to retake some courses and gre to hopefully get a spot next year along with apply to a few other schools. I wish everyone who did get in and those who are waitlisted the best of luck with their future careers as nurses! Mine will be put off a little longer but will be a nurse one day!! Congratulations to all of you!!! And go gators :-)

jbishop, I am in your situation as well. I don't believe that my GRE score or my GPA makes me a very competitive canidate but it eases my nerves that they look at the overall application. I'm so glad that they look at us as a person rather an a piece of paper (transcripts and test scores). I'm hoping that they will be able to see our passion for the field through our personal statement and letters of recommendations! I wish you and everyone else the best of luck!! hopefully we will receive our letters soon :) good luck everyone!

bmmj330, Thanks for your kind words! I agree, when one door closes another one opens! It is so discouraging to be denied before you hear from your number one school.
