OMG...if only i listened to your advise ochiegan... now im an EMT-AREMT, but i feel incompetent... in 2weeks time, its really not enough... i'm really disappointed, i feel im cheated! As of now..i ddnt take may ojt yet, im having a hard time where to go.. they don't even provide it. I have so many emt friends from bright and they were all satisfied.. Now, im focusing on my career as a nurse abroad..I have a job offer in military hospital in saudi and job offer in abudabi.. I'm still hoping, one day when giving an opportunity ill take may emt course again. Ahm...as i remembered i think you are the one who own a rescue station?

hi john, actually i also searched about it..i really wanted to take this course asap, i heard about LSTI which is the most recommended training school, my problem was the whole year slot was already taken, so i choose between PEMFRI and CHEERS. On July 18, i'll be starting may 1st day in CHEERS. Yes, it's only 10days maybe because it is RN bridging course to EMT-B? I'm also thinkin' about it. I searched NREMT RN bridging EMT course and it takes 110hrs only, not sure though.

hhmm.can u tell me what's the best school next to LSTI? i really wanted to take emt in lsti but there's no more slot til oct.. so sad.. maybe ill try to take HAAD and ACLS first.

to ochiegan: wow! that's great..i already had a vision to be on teaching field..but since, i have to earn more experience i have to invest with this training first,as wat u said (ATLS,PALS,ACLS)..hhmm..sounds practical..still, im thinking about taking EMT course,for a new challenge and exp..but i want it to be worth.. i really want to take it from LSTI,but i will only take aug-oct sched.no more slot for LSTI. im choosing between PEMFRI and CHEERS. i'm confuse.CHEERS AREMT have only 2weeks training including ojt. hhmm...still, im thinking what step i have to do..can u give me some advice on where to invest..im saving money and time..thanks for the response..=)

hhmm..i guess i have to think about it..im running out of time...they don't even considered me as waiting list for september..i will be on visit visa in abudabi by december... i'm a female nurse, is it worth taking this training? i heard that only male EMT were qualified. i just wanna take these step cause i want to work in emergency department. i'm planning to take EMT training as soon as i get home in the Philippines..my problem is LSTI is fully booked til Sept2011, next batch is Oct24.. is there any accredited or recommended school for EMT training? how bout PEMFRI which i heard, TESDA accredited. after taking the training, can u take take the national exam ASAP? pls help me....pls...

hi! we have the same problem..where are u now? which path u choose? as soon as i got home i'm planning to take EMT course...i really wanted to take the EMT in LSTI but unfortunately its fully booked till sept...so i guess i have to find other emt class as early as sept...and planning to take HAAD before EMT class...im on a hurry.hehe

LSTI next schedule is OCT24, but i really need to take the Sept class...i guess, ill try PEMFRI? what are other accredited schools you can recommend? after taking the course, can i take the licensure ASAP? do i really need to take the OJT? pls respond......thanks!
