Contact the Better Business Beaureu, Department of Labor, any news channel, and anyone else you can think of. The elderly in the nursing home deserve to be treated better and with much more respect. I went through some of the same things but it wasn't nearly as bad. I did all of the following and now things at the nursing home have gotten much better. Even though I no longer work in nursing homes, I understand what you are talking about. I wish you luck.

I am a CNA and I had worked for a nursing agency for 2 weeks. I got my first paycheck right on schedual but thought it was funny that my paycheck came in the form of a personal check. After my second week of work, I never recieved a paycheck nor have been schedualed to work. I know of atleast 2 other people who worked through the same agency and had the same problems. I was supposed to recieve my paycheck in the middle of August and here it is October. I have called her many times and she has stopped answering the phone. I have tried the BBB but they say all they can do is try but if no one answers the phone then there is nothing they can do. I don't know what else to do. I could get an attorney but I can't afford to pay around $1,000 for attorney fees when my check won't even be that much. Any advice? Thank you.

My MALE friend has the following symptoms: having pubic hair change colors then having it fall out while having itching all over the body and skin change colors dramatically I don't know what it could be and he says that he saw the ship doctors (he is in the Navy) and they don't know what it could be. I don't believe that he went because he will avoid Dr's to the fullest extent.

Excuse me for forgetting to "s" on the end of a few words. What I meant was that his hand and arms were swollen. His knuckle area was swollen as was his wrist...but yes they were swollen 2-3 times normal size. He can hardly feed himself because of the pain he endures getting the fork/spoon to his mouth. His shoulders are stiff and painful.

I recently visited my Grandpa and when i saw the condition in which his arm and hand were in, i couldn't believe it. His whole hand and arm were swollen to three time te normal size. My Grandpa has rheumatoried arthritis and it is constantly bothering him. He asked me what he should do for the pain because his doctors aren't doing anything to help with the pain. Any suggestions to the question? Thank you.

I need an answer to a question I have about being licensed in the state of Missouri. Is it true that you do not need to have any form of license to work in home health? Is experience enought to work in home health? I am a CNA and my aunt claims she is back to working home health but I was told by my instructor during clinicals that in Missouri you must be licensed.
