  1. Totally agree with her...I bought the CD's and the review book. The are one in the same. I reviewed the CD's a out 3 times and then the book. I tried the opposite and felt like I couldn't figure out the questions...but once I listed to the CD's and then the book it was much easier. You have to know how to think critically.
  2. To dbb37128 I have been a ANP since 2004 but at that time the exam wasn't necessary to get my license. I decided to get it now because I need to get a Medicare pin# and certification is one of the requirement to get a pin #.
  3. I just took the test about 2 hrs ago and the preliminary report said passed. I used Fitzgerald review CD's her review book and Leik's review book. Honestly for me the Fitzgerald review helped in that it helped me with critical thinking....it's not about memorizing. You have to know the disease process, medications etc. The questions are not going to be straight forward...maybe a few...but for most you do have to think. Therefore you have to have an understanding of the material and how to apply it. I cannot say that it was so easy, I found some questions difficult some easy and most in between. There were questions that I had absolutely no idea what the answer was and I guessed. Apparently I did well as I passed. I'm sooo excited.
