Hold in there KRR2009. You never know...you could be surprised. I know of some people last semester who got a wait list letter in the mail and they got in by the time the semester was starting. Hope for the best and I'll pray that all of yall who are waiting for the final word will get the good news!

i might be dropping my spot with utmb soon because i was also accepted into twu. after talking to some people i know, i think twu will be slightly better for me. so keep your hopes up and if you're #1 one on the list, i'll pray that you get in!

Mine took 2 days. It's best to call enrollment services to double check about everything.

I actually think we will be the last springers UTMB will have for a while. I was looking at their website and noticed that there is now a summer and fall semester...

thank you guys so much for your advice and guidance. i'm glad that we all have a way to communicate with each other. also, did anybody bring anything with them for their interviews? this is my first interview, so i’m not sure if i have to bring something or not. as for those of you who are still waiting for either interviews or acceptance letters, hang in there...i hope u here something soon.

i have a quick question for those that have already had an interview. did you take something with you to your interview regarding transcripts or something like that? i was reading something online and it said to bring a student resume and transcripts with you to your interview. i found that a little weird and thought about asking you guys.

for those of u who are waiting for an acceptance letter, have you looked at your mystar? i know some friends who applied last semester and their mystar was updated before they heard something via mail. i hope that you all hear something soon and that the 2nd rounds of interviews start going out soon as well.

I think you will need a high school GED. However, to be sure, you can email the admissions advisor. Her email is listed on the UTMB website.

same here and I applied in May.

My friend emailed someone from SON today and she got a reply stating that interview invites will start in early September, once the staff comes back from summer vacations.

Ya I think the reason they had the application close a month earlier was so they can start interviews earlier...I hope I'm right lol

that's exactly what mine says except that under my to do list it says that my teas scores are initiated..i have no clue what that means and enrollment service isn't helping either...

mine says the same thing regarding my transcripts except that my application states complete...i really don't know what that means. i hope my application is actually "complete" and that it's not a mistake. i think i'm going to call them tomorrow as well.

for those of you who have already submitted an application what does your mystar state? mine says application complete then under my to do list it lists my transcripts as active and my teas scores as initiated. does everyone's say that or is it just mine?

I actually borrowed the practice book from a friend of mine, but I had to give it back since she needs it for her teas now. I would highly recommend for you to get it and also if you can, try to buy the online practice exams..they are also a good help.

hey i took the teas last month and did pretty well on it. i actually did really well on the science and math and not so well with my english and reading (weird, huh?) it just depends on your test version. lots of people say that the science is hard and time is not enough on the math, but it was the complete opposite for me. time was not enough for me on the reading and by the time i got to the english i was tired so i guess that's what hurt me there. i think the book does a really good job with the math and the science is ok. i recalled most of my science from my anatomy classes. my gpa is pretty good, but i have some low grades from my advanced science classes (i hope they don't focus too much on that). as for the scores, you do get them right away. i'm not sure on when utmb gets it, but you can try calling a week later to see if they got it. you can also send in transcripts now and resend them after the semester is over. it's a safer call in case your final transcripts don't reach utmb.
