  2. Anyone else think I should worry about the prescription Lortabs? Still worried. My health check, immunizations, and drug screen is at the end of this week. thx :)
  3. Yes! I have to do the prehire drug screen, and the complete health history? Is this bad? I don't know what the policy is in Nevada
  4. Phew! Thank you. That reduces my anxiety level
  5. Hello, I currently have prescriptions for Ativan for anxiety, and Lortab prn for migraines. I can prove that I have prescriptions if these show up in the drug screen. My question is if hospitals are hesistant to hire health care workers in a hospital who are taking benzos or pain meds? thank you :)
  6. Infamous: Which RN programs are you looking currently looking into?
  7. Thank you for the information. I will definitely check with the community college to get more information. :)
  8. Is it common for a hospital to train you to be a CNA? Also, I have applied for a bunch of unit sec. jobs, and I never get them. I wonder if they want experience?
  9. Hello, I have a bachelor's degree in Finance, but no healthcare experience. I would like to make a career change, and transition into healthcare. How do I go about getting a certification... for example to be a lab tech? I'm willing to get some schooling, but don't know where, and don't think I want to start a 2 year program to get an RN. thx:confused:
  10. Hello, I already have a Bachelor degree in Finance, but I'm looking for a career change into the healthcare field. I was looking at the Nevada State College program, where I can get a BSN in 2 years, since I already have a bachelor's degree. Is this the best program in the area? I think College of Southern Nevada only offers 4 yr degrees. Also, I was wondering about programs for Lab Tech? I can't seem to find anything on this. Any advice is appreciated. Also looking at an entry level job in a hospital, but cannot seem to get one without any experience thx, iconnie11
