AVM - I've been curious to see what you found out. Thank you for taking the time to update me. That's great that you have the opportunity to do their CNA program but does that mean that you are no longer being considered for RN EAYL this fall? If so, I'm sorry to hear that but it does seem that you made a favorable impression on them to be given the other opportunity. Also, best of luck with the SPC 2nd pool. :) I know that you said they would probably be calling the end of next week. However, do you think I should call early like you did?

I was a little early to my interview but I didn't see anyone else waiting. I will let you know if I hear anything. Hopefully we will get good news soon!

I believe that I had my interview the same day as you. I haven't heard anything back yet. With the excitement of the interview, I forgot to ask what the next step in the selection process would be. Did they give you any indication as to how or when they were going to make their decision? Or, how many other people are interviewing? I heard that in the past it was decided by a committee. Best wishes to you ... the anticipation is killing me! :)

I have been trying to be very patient ... but on Friday I broke down and called the receptionist. She told me that on Thursday, the last person was interviewed for the first round of interviews. She did not see any 2nd interviews scheduled yet on the calendar. She asked if I wanted her to transfer me to TR but I told her that I didn't want to bug her and that I would just continue to wait until they started making calls. Hopefully in the next few days... Also, during my interview I was told that they were only going to be interviewing about 12 people. I think in an earlier post you mentioned 10-20. Maybe I misunderstood but that would be nice if it is only 12 so that maybe our chances for the remaining 3-4 spots will be better!

Sarah ... any word yet from EAYL?

Congrats to everyone that has been accepted so far! Everyone else good luck for the 2nd pool.:) Sarah - It is so hard to resist the tempation to call and get an update but I don't want to bug them since they did say it would probably be mid-april. Maybe we will hear something in the next few days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

After reading your posts I couldn't wait to get home from work to check the mail...unfortunately I did not get a letter yet. Maybe tomorrow! Has anyone who may have applied to the Morton Plant Earn As You Learn Program heard anything back from them yet? Waiting is so hard!!!

I understand how you feel! I will keep you updated if I learn anything new. I'm new to this site but I remember reading that we aren't supposed to post phone numbers or email addresses. Do you know if there is a way to share contact info or send private messages?

My understanding is that they are still completing the 2nd round of interviews for another program and they need to wrap that up first. I was told that we probably won't be called for the second interview until mid-april. The second interview will be with the EAYL Manager and due to a busy schedule she may not be available for interviews until near the end of April. Hopefully we will get some good news this week!
