Hiring an RN into private practice
Where is this job? Would you consider hiring a nurse who has a reprimand on their license? A lot of nurses can't find work because of the reprimand and they would be willing to work for $20/hr.

How to resolve a "Letter of Admonition"??
I'm hoping you still look are this site. I, too, received a LOA in Colorado in 2010, practicing nurse since 2006. Have been dealing with it since and have had a lot of difficulty getting a good job. How have you been dealing with this?

I am having a difficult time right now because of an LOA that I received in 2010. This does help to know that I may be able to find work eventually.

I don't know, I'm in Colorado, currently under suspension. Don't know if they will fire me or offer rehab, don't know.

What happens to an RN who has a positive random drug test but is not an addict in 2017? What to do?

Letter of Admonition
Also, where I work I always start with 6, 7 or 8 patients a night. I have worked where I have had 9 patients. This is in a hospital and we cannot complain about staffing. According to my boss and the hospital, staffing cannot be an excuse.

Letter of Admonition
The Letter of Admonition is from the board of nursing and it is public record. I know some companies will not hire you if you have anything against your license? Mine just happened and I was wondering if anyone out there has a similar situation or knows. This Letter is against your license for the rest of your life. It never goes away. I am going to try and appeal it but I may not have any success.
