  1. Right. Only the basic chemistry is required with A&P. I've taken only the Chemistry required prereq and earned a C about ten years ago. I have about 24 credits of science classes like biology, the labs, chemistry ll and the lab and earned like C's in them. Should I retake them even though its not required?
  2. Associates of Nursing for an RN, then transfer to the University for a BSN. I figured if I retook my science classes that I took in 2002 - 2003 that arent prereqs it would better my chances.
  3. The nursing program at the local community college requires only four prereqs, A&P + L, basic chemistry, and Human Development, to apply. I started at a university in 2002 as a pre-med student and got a "C" in CHM 1045, BSC 2010 & BSC 2010L. I have to take them over because by the time I apply to the nursing school within the next year to two years, it will be past the 10 year time frame. Should I retake any science or math classes that arent required prereqs to better my chances of getting in? Or would it really just be a waste of time. Or should I just take the required prereqs, apply, and if I dont get in, retake the math and science courses that arent required but with "A"'s? Any advice or experience is welcome. I already have a B.S. in HR, and my goal is to obtain a BSN by the time I turn 30 which will be in 4 years, well 3. I turn 27 this year. Thanks.
