  1. Here is the page. Looks like there's one in October. http://www.au.af.mil/au/holmcenter/OTS/Classdates.asp
  2. If you go to the COT website I think the 2013 dates are posted.
  3. My best advice is apply and whatever will be will be. And if you don't get selected, don't give up!! It was a 1.5 year process for me before I got selected. No one quite understands selection criteria. I personally believe they are looking for evidence that you are involved in your unit (you don't just clock in and out) and that you set an example as a leader, because that's how they want you to be if you are selected. So if there's anything you can do to beef up your resume in that regard, then that's what I would do (and did!). Hope that helps!
  4. Then I'll definitely be spending my 30th birthday at COT! What a way to ring in a new decade!
  5. Does anyone know the date we are finished with COT? Just trying to figure out if I'll be spending my 30th birthday with all of you fine people!! :-)
  6. Anybody know anything about Langley? I know nothing haha! And my google searches aren't helpful.
  7. Just found out today I'll be joining everyone in August as well!! I'm ecstatic but sad at the same time because I was supposed to be leaving for a 2 week vacation to London on Aug 27 (which i already paid for) but now I guess I'm going to COT! My recruiter is trying to get me into the next class, especially because I specified that I couldn't go active duty until 10/1, but I told him if it's any trouble at all then I'll cancel the trip cause London will still be there! I'm so happy and grateful that'd I'd leave tomorrow if they asked me to! I'm headed to Langley after COT!
  8. Haha my trainer is at Bonnaroo right now and I texted her and said "have fun this weekend but when you get home it's game on!!" I'm going to celebrate at the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert tonight, then tomorrow it's nothing but working out so I won't embarrass myself at COT!
  9. Guess who just got the good news?!?!? I'm going to COT in August!! I'm so excited!! Going to be stationed at Langley!!!
  10. Thanks for the info! That's actually very helpful and the first time anyone has actually explained it like that. So is that the same process if you are non-selected? Are the results released at the same time? I'm not scared to talk to my recruiter at all, I guess you could just say I'm superstitious. I don't want to ask him any questions about the next step until I know I've been selected and that there is a next step. Haha does that make sense?
  11. rndiver82, did your recruiter have any updates today? I wish I could talk to mine but he's a 3 hour drive away in Nashville, plus I'm too nervous to ask him anything right now.
  12. I'm just hoping to hear by the end of the week. Fortunately I don't work again until Friday so my patients won't have to suffer this mood. Random question, does anyone know, if I initially said I'd take the signing bonus, am I locked into that? Or can I change my mind? I guess it doesn't matter if I'm not selected. I'd just rather get a bonus for my CEN every year rather than the initial bonus up front.
  13. Haven't heard from mine. I've been in a hideous mood this past week. Being in career limbo is really starting to take its toll.
  14. My recruiter also said they met last week and he expects a decision any day now. So I'm not sure what to think! Just praying for a selection no matter what!
  15. They send out a list before the board meets that says how many spots they have for each discipline. I think it may have some flexibility but I could be wrong. What state are you in? My recruiter texted me Monday to tell me good luck and that he was praying for me. But other than that I've heard nothing. He's a really great recruiter though and he doesn't allow me to have anxiety or freak out about things I can't control. But I'm assuming since the board met yesterday that decisions were made and we just have to wait for our recruiters to receive those decisions (which is what takes time) and then call us and tell us what they were. Like I said, last time it only took a week for my recruiter to call me. I'm thinking he'll call me by the end of next week, or the week after that. Memorial Day does throw a wrench into things, so just tell yourself you'll know by 2 weeks from today and if you don't, then start harassing your recruiter haha!
