  1. Thank you everyone for your input! Much appreciated!!!
  2. Thank you all for the replies so far. They are of great help! I'm still stressing myself out over this believe it or not! I'm just so thrilled with the job offer that I don't want anything to ruin it! I think I'll just go take the dog out for a much needed walk, and calm myself down! LOL!!!
  3. Thanks for the replies!! Should I let my new employer know about the medications or wait until the results of the screen and then present them the prescriptions? To tell you the truth, I would feel uncomfortable letting them know personal medical information like depression. Although well controlled, I don't want to be "labled." Thoughts?
  4. Hi Everyone! I am a Med/Surg RN who was diagnosed a couple of years ago with Anxiety and Depression. I take Prozac 20mg daily and Valium 5 mg TID as needed. I am happy to say that I just accepted a position with a Hospice Company that I am very excited about!! My concern is my upcoming pre-employment drug screen. I know the screen will show positive for the valium (for which I have a prescription). Will this be a problem or should I be concerned that they will rescind the offer with a positive result even if I have the prescription? Of course this is causing me some anxiety!! LOL!! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! :)
