I'm retaking my NCLEX for the 3rd time on Thursday!!! SO NERVOUS! Please send your words of encouragement this way! I need a morale boost! Thanks!!!

YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY STUDY!!!! I did just as well as you did on my HESI & have failed the NCLEX TWICE! I graduated last May and have been kicking myself ever since. I took Kaplan after graduating, but didn't really take it seriously. My other mistake was that I waited until September to take it for the first time. I let myself get distracted all summer & wish I had just taken it as soon as I could. It's been almost a year & I'm about to take it for the third time. I'm scared out of my mind and wish more than anything I could go back in time and study much more the first time around. Enjoy the rest of your year, but stay focused!!! Good luck!

Hey All- I graduated in May 2010 and have taken the NCLEX twice since them (September & December). Obviously, I failed both times, got 265 questions each time, which I think just throws salt on the wound . I'm scheduled to take it again next week but am not sure if I'm really ready. I've taken Kaplan twice before which really didn't help me (hence the double failure) & since my last failure I have been using the Davis 2010 Q&A book. I've completed the book & am now working on the CD. These questions are suppose to be the hardest one's that can be given. I've been scoring an average of 70% on the practice quizzes and am not sure what that means in NCLEX world. I've read that anywhere from 60% and up is considered good. I can't bare the emotional, financial, and mental toll failing a third time will take on me so I really want to be ready & just pass the damn thing already & FINALLY become a nurse!! Any & all advice is welcome, THANKS!! :)
