  1. I will be working for the PCU in Downtown Orlando at the main campus. They offer up to 2,000 in relocation assisstance. You should get the first half during your first 2 pay periods. I believe the second half is offered at the end of the year. They will definitely give you information on housing and some pointers about which areas to stay out of. Good luck on the phone interview. Really do your research on the hospital before. It will help. I would read over this website: floridahospitalnursing.com Its a quick phone interview. Nothing too stressful :). Good luck!
  2. Winter Park is a good area.. Considered a pretty safe place to live and work. It is close to downtown too, about 10/15 minutes. I doubt a phone interview will be granted. I just flew down myself for an interview for the Orlando location. Good luck if you decide to pursue the opportunity! :)
  3. Hi BeMurphy! I got an interview with FL hospital next week. What was the case study like? Was it more to demonstrate your technical skills or more critical thinking/decision making skills. I also graduated in December and I feel a little rusty so any advice you could give me would be great! Thanks so much.
  4. Congrats!! Yeh I have an interview this week for a peds office, but i think i would learn so much more in a program in a hospital. So im hoping too that we hear soon so i can just know something lol.
  5. Peds, OR, Surg PCU, Multisystem ICU, Rehabilitation, and Oncology. How bout yourself? Peds is my top choice but either way I think I will learn a lot in any of the departments. If I had phone numbers I would call myself and ask..."are you gonna call me anytime soon??" lol. I need work :)
  6. no worries, mine says the same thing. :)
  7. Ok thats what i thought you meant. :) It just has a list of the 6 different departments my application and resume were sent to and the job submission status under each one. :)
  8. Hi Bronx! I was told they will let you know either way by email or phone call if they want to pursue an interview. I am not sure of our odds lol. As good as anyone else I guess. I was told there were hundereds of applicants. Gettting pass pre-screening is always a plus! What do you mean by jobpage?
  9. I had my prescreening call over a month ago. I applied 3 or 4 weeks before the start of the April program so i think they knew I would not be able to relocate and get my license in florida in that short of time so they suggested the June or July program. So i feel like i have been waiting FOREVER! lol.
  10. Well thats awesome congratulations!! I graduated in December as well and have found it very frustrating that i havent been able to find a job. I have two degrees and noooo job lol. Doesnt make sense. Are you from Florida? What area will you be working in? Thanks for the information!! I really appreciate it and good luck! :)

  12. Hi! When was your interview? I was told they are still finalizing GN needs and I should hear somehthing soon. I got through prescreening and am waiting to see if I get a call for an interview. I am not from Florida so I was hoping I would get a call soon so I can make a decision if offered a position. Are you excited? How was the interview??
