  1. thank you for all the feedback. And one more thing I am applying for NM board of nursing and I was wondering where can I do my fingerprint here in NJ?
  2. okay i will do that. Uhm one more thing whats the best book I can study, cuz i haven't open any nursing books for two years.
  3. no not yet. I thought that they should at least email me or confirm that they received my CES report from cgfns and that I could apply already (via download their application).
  4. The last time i posted here was 2 years ago. I failed my nclex 3 times and i think i just gave up and started to work. Now I feel like I am ready to take the nclex again. But now i'm applying to New mexico nclex. I graduated from the Philippines and the requirement of New mexico is a CES report which i paid already last dec 2012. I am a permanent resident here in NJ. Now the status of my order is "report issued" meaning they have already sent my report directly to New Mexico BON. My question is do I wait for New mexico to confirm that they have recieved my CES report and that I can already apply or I'll just go to their website directly and apply? If someone has a similar experience regarding cgfns please do share it with me.
  5. well honestly its always my dream to become a doctor. But maybe out of practicality nursing is the by far the closest thing to achieve my dream. My plan is to be a nurse practitioner.. yeah i think i was stressing out each question too much not recognizing all the basic tools. thanks for the advice. :)
  6. thank you very much il treat you once i pass! :)
  7. wow u are really lifting my spirits up. :) okay here is my email [email protected] plssss share me ur notes if its okay thank you very much. :) really appreciate it
  8. i dont get it what are u so afraid of? i mean u haven't took the test yet. And like i said it doesn't mean that it will also happen to you. Yes i was well prepared well equipped to take the test and too bad i still didn't make it. Maybe i over analyzed the questions too much i really dunno. But heres a piece of advice keep ur head up I am just one of those unfortunate ones. Nclex is a hard one and im just telling this to give u a head start.Ur still studying concentrate on ur studies first.Don't let my story take u down.
  9. oh my gosh i didn't mean to scare you oim sorry. Dont worry, it doesnt mean what happened to me will also happen to you. If u feel you're ready then go for it. I know u can do it and you'll pass with flying colors. :)
  10. yeah and i think everbody does cuz its the nclex. To be honest with you, i felt i was ready taking the nclex for the 3rd time. I felt like i had done what any of you who had passed the nclex (study study study ) and i dont think i over did it. I went in the testing center feeling relaxed yet still little bit anxious. I was discussing each question as if i was presenting a case presentation infront of a panel. Read each question 5 times w/out looking the choices. I had 10 SATA's to be exact, 1 computation and the majority were all priority questions. The next thing i knew was i was over the 75th question (#75 and #74 wer both SATA questions) went til 85 then that was it (this is nclex RN not LPN). I feel like ive done everything. Right now my confidence level is too low that i cant function properly.
  11. I know i can't give up now. I have overcome so many failures in my life and i know i can do this. The thing is that im kinda lost and i don't know where to start. Will I still continue to self-study?should I attend another review class? i really dont know but one thing for sure is i wont give up i just need to find that straight path towards victory..
  12. wer u from? really sucks bigtime. I havent received my official result yet i just did the PVT(went to the cc). goodluck and im sure ul get it this time.
  13. hey guys Im actually new here, like some of you, I also failed the nclex thrice already and I feel so lost and I am becoming frustrated. I am a BSN grad batch 2009 and i took my frst nclex april of 2010. I used lipincott's nclex 4000 questions finished all 4000 and I attended a 2 day review here in NJ. I really felt confident going to the testing center and I actually felt good after taking the test. I was excited to go home to do the PVT to my dismay it lead me to to the cc. My world just crumbled since i really felt good about that exam. I took a month break to recover and found myself scheduling for another exam (2nd chance). Then again i failed (PVT trick again). It didn't hurt that much compared to the first one. I promised myself I'll be ready the 3rd time. I went to kaplan and even answered all the modules online and got a pretty high score 80 - 87%. My saunders book (4th edition) was just sitting in my chair and just decided to read it. Believe or not I finsihed the whole book and answered all the practice questions in every chapter! I told to myself there's no way i will fail this time. My exam was earlier this day march 30 and yes i really felt good about this exam. I even remember the majority of my questions. And yes i did the PVT and YES again it went to the cc page. . I cant actually sleep right now thinking what did i do wrong and what else will i need to do. i feel so lost and i feel so stupid. So i actually know where you're coming from it just sucks cuz i really wanted to be a nurse and someday be a nurse practitioner. The other thing is that i'm the only who's not yet landing a permanent job. All my siblings are nurses (LPN) and im the only one who graduated w/a bachelors degree so u can imagine the pressure im dealing with since my mom is a Nursing supervisor and have been a nurse here in NJ for the past 20 years. My moms connections kept asking her if i passed so you see, I have a job waiting for me i just need my liscense. Anyone here from NJ? if u want lets form a study group since majority of you here had first hand exp how cruel nclex.
  14. hi im fron NJ and i really need some help to pass the nclex.
