  1. If you are WPB, Gainesville or ocala you will commute to orlando or Hollywood in 3rd semester for sim lab.
  2. A high GRE isn't going to overcome your science scores. It is actually the opposite, anesthesia is science based so making A's will overcome a bad GRE (I got in with a 296 GRE but made all A's in my sciences). They acknowledged my science grades and said they saw that I could manage work and still make A's so that stood out in lieu of my lower GPA Then if you got an interview, it was the way you interviewed. Have you asked for feedback?
  3. They're accepting 70 Did you get an interview and then put on the waitlist?
  4. Have you written out the cost of each school including housing, clinical site travel, etc. Do you know anyone in either city who you could have for support? Does one start before the other? What about clinical sites and number of hours/cases? Spokane is much different than the hustle of DC. What about where you would want to live after you're done? I'm sort of in a similar boat. I've been accepted to a school and already put a deposit down but waiting on the deadline of my "dream" school. But as I look more into it I'm leaning toward the school I already accepted due to the clinical sites. (Big city vs more rural). Also they do clinical at a major city level 1 trauma center, dedicated ortho, children's, and women's hospitals along with an independent CRNA site in a private practice. I've heard great things from both SRNAs but I am genuinely more excited at how strong I'll come out of school with the better clinical sites. According to former and current students the rumor is that everyone wants graduates from that program because they are very strong CRNAs. I am keeping an open mind and will decide if it falls into my lap but you need to trust your gut.
  5. That is strange, I submitted 8/30, had interview and acceptance by 9/30. Who have you been in contact with?
  6. Has anyone had a response yet about interviews or denial?
  7. I applied and was contacted 3 weeks later for an interview. The next interview is 10/27 so you will likely be called before then if they want to interview you.
  8. The link doesn't link to a group, just the general FB page.
  9. I got in! Orlando campus. Does anyone have a FB group for it?
  10. I'm applying too! Just got notice my app is submitted to the committee
  11. no, actually everyone was really great which is why I'm so confused.
  12. Has this affected your classes as a student? Are there teachers leaving mid semester? Other than the staff turnover do you still recommend the program?
  13. Yes, this is accurate, I spoke with admissions yesterday. She said things have been very crazy around there and expect to have an answer in 1-2 weeks. I have also confirmed from current students about a month ago that they're having a huge faculty turnover.
  14. oh no! I literally just emailed them and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) is no longer with Barry!
  15. Has anyone applied after 9/4 and received a decision? I applied 9/4 with everything complete and still anxiously waiting to hear something. If you didn't get an interview is it just a status update on your my.barry account or do they email you?
  16. Transcripts sent in for them to enter your classes or just the official ones? oh no! I also have a lot of transcripts (6) I'm hoping this isn't the case.
  17. How long did it take NursingCas to verify your application before the school received it?
