  1. I just saw my webadvisor updated to Accepted!!! I know I was in the first group to be interviewed, so I'm likely also in the first group to hear back. I can't wait to hear who else I'll be in school with!!! :dncgbby::dancgrp::hpygrp:
  2. I think there may be one more round of interviews next week. The director said they would likely be interviewing this week and next also. Good Luck! :)
  3. Congrats on getting an invite to interview!!! When will it be? It's not a tough interview, it's more of a review of how you got to this point and making sure everything is on track. GOOD LUCK!! :)
  4. I didn't think to ask that, but I would be very interested to find out as well! I know those scholarships are still listed as a possibility on the msmc.la.edu website, so hopefully they are. Good luck and I hope you hear from them soon! It would be fun if we all got in the program together! :)
  5. I interviewed on Wednesday and it was really not that stressful. They asked questions related to the program: What you're current life responsibilities are? (i.e. do you have too much on your plate right now). What Pre-req's you have left to complete? Why you want to go into Nursing? What is your top school that you are applying to? Explain an ethical problem that you've dealt with in the past? She was also willing to answer questions about the program at the end. She said I should expect to hear an answer by the end of second week in June if all goes according to schedule. She also explained that they were running behind this year because they were waiting on materials from Admissions until recently.
  6. nidi: The email was from ----, ABSN Program Coordinator and the subject line was: FW: Interviews for Accelerated BSN Program. There were only about 10 people on the email, so there will likely be others going out, or decisions without interviews. Good luck! socalgrl: that is frustrating! I had a similar issue with Azusa Pacific, but they wouldn't even look into it. I hope it doesn't hold you back, since you've done so much work already! Good luck!
  7. It still says the same thing on Webadvisor. It was an email with just a handful of people on it. I'm sure they'll send out more invitations to interview than just this. Also, I've heard of them accepting people without an interview in the past, so either way stay positive and hopeful!
  8. I was wrong, I just got an email for an interview next week Check your email and spam boxes...Hope you all get an interview also!
  9. My bet is that we start hearing about interviews the beginning of next week and interviews conducted the week of 30 May, with decisions the week of 6 June, but that's just my hunch! Good luck everyone and please update if you hear ANYTHING! :)
  10. I had an additional transcript that I sent last month and it just now updated on the webadvisor. I don't think anyone has heard about interviews yet, but I'm finding it hard to wait patiently too! From prior years' posts we should expect to get a letter sometime the first week or two in June to tell us if we were accepted or not, and we may or may not get interviews before that. Hang in there! Please update the group if anyone gets an interview request...we'd all love to know!
  11. That makes life a little more difficult for you! Have you decided how you're going to proceed?
  12. I'm sorry to hear that - it's never fun to get those letters! Best of luck with the other school's you've applied to, since you've had other interviews already, hopefully you'll get into one of those programs!
  13. If I get in, I plan on taking it concurrently, as I have one religion class in progress and another to take along with Speech over the summer. But, it sounds like it will be easier and cheaper if you take it beforehand, tho not impossible to take concurrently either according to older posts. Good luck!
  14. We should be contacted for interviews sometime in May (according to the timeline I've seen in prior year's postings). As the time grows near, I'm getting more excited! Have others finished all their prereq's already? I will be taking the religion classes and the speech class this summer.
  15. From what I've read under previous year's postings, we can expect to hear back about interviews in mid-May and should expect a final decision the first week in June. Although this timeframe seems long, it helps me to remain a bit more patient about the process. I thought I'd pass on this info as it might help calm the nerves of others. I didn't get into UCLA MECN as the applicant pool was ginormous, so I'm really hoping that I get into this program. It's always been my first choice. Best of luck to everyone!
