I am currently in nursing school. I have one year left until I am an RN. I applied at a hospital for a nurse tech position and did not get an offer but they notified me about a sitter position. Should I take this or look for something that will give me more experience. I feel like it will be a step down from clinical.

Thanks su9032 for the information! I want to start applying for other jobs but I have been waiting around for them to call. I feel like if they havent called by now they arent going to. We only have three days left of this month. I only know one other person that got 2 interviews and they havent heard anything either. Did you have a panel interview? I have heard that some people in the past summers had to do a panel interview as part of the process. Thanks!!:)

I also applied to the summer nurse tech program at Ochsner and I had two interviews. I was wondering if anyone has had a panel interview in new orleans yet? I am still waiting on a phone call but it has been over 3 weeks so I'm guessing I didnt get the job :-( Any information would be helpful. Thanks!!
