  2. Hi everybody! I'm a high school sophomore hoping to be a pediatric nurse someday . Is there anything I can do now to get prepared for a college nursing program? I do quite a bit of volunteer work with kids, mostly through Girl Scouts, and I have gotten good at working with tough parents (I noticed that's one of the big tips on almost every thread-patience :)). Junior year is the year to look for colleges; is there anything specific I should look for in a nursing program if I want to get into pediatrics? I'm pretty sure I want to be a pediatric nurse, but I'm still deciding. What are some of the biggest challenges you have experienced in Peds? Some of the best hings? Thank you guys so much in advance!!!!
