  1. I am interested in a text and/or software that will prepare a NP or PA in the orthopedic field. Preferably something that will emphasize the musculoskeletal anatomy, review imaging studies and also go into the surgical aspect/anatomy of orthopedic medicine. All comments are appreciated. Thanks
  2. Hello, I am a student in my last semester of nursing school and would like to get a good grasp on ECG interpretation and interventions for abnormal findings. Please recommend sites that are or were helpful to anyone in grasping these readings. I find some of the abbreviations and certain representations to be confusing, so having a basic-complex tutorial would be helpful. Thank you for helping me in my endeavor!
  3. Kenyo, Could you give some imput on the program so far? I am about to apply for the fall or 2012. thanks
  4. It takes some people time to get adjusted to the scenery in the clinical setting. However, your case seems like you were worried. It's much harder to deal with a situation when it involves a loved one. Don't let it worry you. Go in confident and know what you are there to do.
  5. Well it seems that I have become obsessed with the study of the medical field. I am a student at Spring Hill College of Mobile Alabama and cant stay out of the books. I like to learn... I am extremely involved on campus and volunteer at different locations in the community and maintain a good GPA. I also work as a CNA at one of the local hospitals. Getting to the beef of this post....I am curious as to what the chances are, for a student fresh out of college, to get accepted to a DNP program full time. I know some students who chose to go right into the DNP program part time, but I want to go full time and dedicate as much as possible. I have found a great passion in caring for people and want to continue giving as much knowledge as possible to serve them the best I can. I want to be an NP and I also want to go right through schooling. Please give some input or PM with anything you have to offer. Thank you and God bless
  6. I am a senior in nursing school and just wanted to know what everyone thought about the DNP programs? I have always been caught between getting a DNP or MNA (CRNA) but have been leaning more towards DNP and specializing in cardiology. I am up for any comments, advice, motivators, ect. Are there any nurse practitioners or CRNA who can offer some words of wisdom?
