Hi, I'm in the process of taking my pre requisites. I've been waiting for three days to hear from the school as to what humanity class is acceptable for nursing. I really need to register for this class over the summer. Does anyone know what humanity classes are acceptable for nursing? Thank You!

I've been wondering the same thing. I've started HCCS this semester and was wondering when I needed to apply to the nursing program. I'm trying to get all the classes they prefer to have out of the way. That's going to take a little over a year and I would like to start the nursing program fall of 2013 (that sounds so far away) but I have no idea when I need to apply. I was thinking Fall of 2012, but I really have no idea.

Hi, I'm starting at HCC - Houston Community College this fall and will begin taking my pre-requisites. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for me as I begin my journey to become a nurse? When exactly did you guys take pharm? I've seen a few people mention that once you take it you have to sit out a semester. Is this really true? I'm really nervous about the order of things and don't want to screw this up and waste a lot of precious time. I'm hoping to get into the nursing program in the Fall of 2012 - is that even realistic if I take fall, spring and summer classes and pass all of them? Thanks and I look forward to some replies. Hi, I'm starting school this fall and I'm undecided about which stethoscope is better. Can anyone offer any feedback on either scopes please? Are both ok for taking BP's and what about pediatrics as that's really the field I would like to focus on eventually. Dewailer
