I and my classmate applied in Ca-BRN to take NCLEX in August 2010. I graduated in March 2010 and licensed as an RN in the Philippines on August 2010. I am now in the US as a permanent resident. This classmate had the same circumstance and we are both here in the US. Last week, my classmate received her ATT from Ca-BRN and i did NOT. I received a letter from Ca-BRN that being the first applicant from our school, they cannot accept my 7 page course description of our Nursing curriculum. Furthermore, my evaluator stating in her letter that the course description usually takes about 100 to 200 pages. What i cannot understand is that why was i disapproved when we submitted the same documents, came from the same school, used the same nursing curriculum, both second coursers, RN licensed in the Philippines and permanent residents in US. Practically, all were the same but with different decision. I hope someone can enlightened me on this regard. Is it okay to call them and cite my classmate case? ( i know her file #) If ever there is someone out there has the same experience tell me how were you able to fix this, NEED HELP badly. Thank you so much for reading.
