  1. First of all i love this website. I checked and read so many responses and posts throughout my nclex experience and just wanted to come back and share the outcome!! I graduated in December and spent off and on studying for the NCLEX. I made a study plan but then ended up not really sticking to it. i was weak on content so I tried to focus on Saunders but then ended up pretty much just doing questions for Kaplan. I did all the QBank questions and got a 60% average. Didnt have time to really finish all the trainers. QT1 69 QT2 57 QT3 50 (didnt do 4 or 5) QT6 58 QT751 I really rushed w/ QT7 b/c i did it 3 days before the exam. I took my readiness test probably a week before the exam and got a 62. I like many others would recommend Kaplan because of the type of questions they ask. I left the NCLEX feeling like i had failed completely i got 105-110 questions... 12 SATA .. no math... like 5-10 meds (that i didnt know) and a couple of exhibits! i was for sure about like 5 questions. I cried on the way home got home and tried the trick and it worked!! the NCLEX was hard... and i never want to take it again but what helped me so much was faith! I wanted nothing but positive energy... its not I can pass its i WILL pass. Write notes to yourself. Sign your name with RN at the title. I was listening to scriptures, praying daily. That stuff does matter. You CAN do this. I'm religious so i lived with the scripture, "do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to god". I said this prayer every night "dear god, I thank you for not letting me be anxious over anything. Everything that is going on in my life is under your divine management. There is nothing too hard that you and I cannot handle together. I trust you that everything that happens today will work for my good at the end of the day Thank you for ordering my steps. in jesus name, amen" i knew if i didnt pass my nclex it was b/c i had self doubt in myself. HAVE FAITH NOT FEAR!! other advice... know infection control... know it inside and out! lol Id review the study guide that is often talked about on here especially if you dont have access to Kaplan. I took my nclex friday and had to wait all weekend to know for sure i was checking every day this morning. and found out today I had passed by calling the VA BON automated message (we dont have quick results) and then I called them directly to get my license #. I had a job that had literally called me thursday and asked if i had taken my test and so i called them back today to let them know my results and they offered me the job on the spot. I applied to over 50 jobs prior to taking my NCLEX and got 3 interviews. And the job i got i never even submitted an online app to I simply went in when they had a job fair. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF JOB FAIRS! I just want to thank you all because i got so much support from the website and asked you all to pray for me the night before! if you have any questions let me know. Best of luck to you all.
  2. Update: finished the exam with about 105-110 questions and i literally felt for sure about 4 questions. cried on the way home... I am praying by faith that i passed!! only finished the test about an hour ago and got the "good pop up" but possibly too soon to know for sure. will keep you guys updated!
  3. I take my nclex tomorrow at 8am. I have been on this site numerous times and have been spending lots of time preparing. I feel like im still not ready but i have faith that god will see me through my weaknesses. I ask this wonderful "nursing" community to keep me in your prayers tonight and tomorrow! ill keep you updated.
