I just got accepted to Western!! Post grad diploma!

Thats awesome congrats! Will you be accepting? I am waiting for this program as well, no news for me yet but I'm hopeful it'll be this week!

Yep, they taking their sweet time! Still hoping for this week, the email they sent last week made it seem like they had started posting decisions but I find it unlikely that nobody on this forum waiting on Western has heard anything at all so I kinda doubt they have....

6pm in Ontario now so guessing we'll have to wait until next week to hear anything ?

8 years very mixed experience, mostly neuro stepdown, also have worked inpatient mental health, community, oncology, some international work with an NGO. I have a 4.0 for my masters nursing policy/public health, I think my BSN is like a 3.6? We'll see! I'll post whenever I hear back regardless

Just got an email from Western, basically saying thanks for your patience, and that they have started posting decisions, all decision will go out over the next few weeks...no change in my status, so hopefully next week!

still waiting on Western and its killing me LOL was really hoping for this week have not heard anything yet

I also applied to this program, hoping to hear back next week, its when admissions started rolling out last year. Best of luck to us both! Here's to meeting in September!

Hello and congrats to all who have already been admitted. I applied only to Western's post graduate NP Program, so its all or nothing for me!! Hoping I get in! I applied with a MPH, 3.9 GPA and 8 years experience. Western Student Centre page won't load for me for some reason this moring, so I cant even obsessively check my application status as is my routine LOL.

I got accepted into Western university MPH program, so I will be doing that while reapplying for NP next cycle! It's only a one year program, and I am hoping it'll make my application more competitive for next year!

It is a unique kind of torture this wait...anybody have any idea how many people roughly are admitted each intake?

She did say “at the latest” so hopefully it won’t be that long but at this point I’m basically counting on it ?

“The Admissions Committee is aiming to release all results by end of May at the latest. Hang in there just a bit longer.” OK so probably not Friday ☹️ Also she said they received an “unprecedented” amount of applications this year which I think means it’ll be a highly competitive intake...

I haven’t heard anything I will for sure post once I hear anything either way. Also restless over here! Mid May would technically be next week Friday so here’s hoping we are in the final stretch of the waiting game!!

I don’t think anyone has been accepted really! A person here and there. Hopefully we all get in and can start a facebook group this week!

Ohh thanks for letting me know! I still under review, typically U of T sends rejections followed by acceptances so hoping we all hear good news maybe this week...

Wow that is very frustrating but good to know for sure thank you for reaching out to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) and letting us know what’s going on. Hopefully by Mid means decision will start going out the first week at least! We’ve all waited this long, we can do 2ish more weeks!

I’m getting worried that since the April 30 deadline is so close they’ll just wait until they have all the applications in to start sending out decisions...I mean thankfully it’s this Friday but still. It’s looking more and more like it’s gonna be May before we hear anything.
