  1. @ DolceVita, i borrowed a nursing diagnosis book and i came up with Risk for infection related to a site for microorganism invasion secondary to IV. @Emilynn09, hey thanks for the other ideas (diagnosis)!
  2. This is a question given to us for practice. John aged 3yrs, is brought to the Accident and Emergency Department by his mother. She stated that John has had a fever for 3 days, which worsened, accompanied by loss of appetite, vomiting, marked irritability, drowsiness and neck stiffness. Intravenous fluids and antibiotic therapy was started. Describe the nursing management of this child during the first 72 hours of hospitalisation under the following needs. Safety and security ( 6 interventions) Nutrition (6 interventions) I dont know what type of management fall under these headings. Please help.
