  1. So I'm put on the holding list and if I don't get in for Aug then I have to apply for the Jan intake I'm not sure how to even strengthen my application!! I thought I had a pretty solid application.. i just finished my undergrad degree and have volunteered at Burnaby Hospital, Childrens and Canadian Blood Services. Can anyone give me any tips if I apply for the Jan intake ?
  2. Congrats green tea!!! I just checked mine too but nothing has changed yet about my application. It makes me a bit worried!!!
  3. I missed the UBC nursing deadline cause I was still unsure if I wanted to do nursing but I did apply to BCIT and got shortlisted. I find out if I'm in for sure by the end of this month. I volunteer a Childrens hospital and really want to be a pediatrics nurse.. I hear that if I want to do pediatrics then UBC would be a better choice cause I will most likely end up getting a job at Childrens hospital since they do most of their clinicals there. Is that true? I also heard that you can go into any thing after you finish your nursing degree and it doesn't matter where you do your degree.
  4. I emailed the advisor for nursing and she said we should hear back either this week or the week after :) Good luck!
  5. I've been waiting to get a response from BCIT about my nursing application. I'm really hoping I'll get shortlisted at least! I haven't gotten the 2 Liberal studies classes done though.. Has anyone who applied for the 2011 Aug intake gotten a letter yet?? I've been really anxious about it.
