For those applying to Adelphi University's nursing program (Traditional and Accelerated), their site does not state this, but they will not look at your application if you have a biology or chemistry course with a grade that is a C or lower. It doesn't have to be a prerequisite course like it states on the site. When I called to ask why I was rejected even before completing my application, they said it was because I had a C in Physical Chemistry, a course that's not even a prerequisite. They told me that any student with a C or lower in ANY Chemistry or Biology class won't be evaluated. The information that they told me on the phone and on the website seemed pretty misleading. I felt like I satisfied all the requirements, and they didn't even evaluate me. It seems like they put certain information on their website to get people to apply, and pay that $40 application fee. Then, they make up extra requirements that make people ineligibile, and act like you were supposed to know about it.
