  1. I am currently an ER nurse, but someday i would like to become involved as a diabetes nurse educator, how do i go about doing this? i currently have 2 years experience and my BSN.... help!! could you send me a private message thanks a bunch! my mother is a diabetic on the pump......diabetes has always been a thing for me..
  2. hello, i graduate in may with my BSN also, and am hoping to go straight into critical care/ER. I have been going crazy looking for orientation programs for new grads in this area. so far, i have found an excellent orientation program for level one trauma centers taking new grads in conneticut and texas. I'm from massachusetts and haven't found anything around here yet. I am actually driving down to conneticut on tues to speak to the nurse recruiter there. i know you are planning on staying in california, but if you want the info on the programs i found, just to give you an idea what's out there, i will be glad to help. good luck in your search. the programs are out there, you just got to search for them. my email address is [email protected] if you have any questions
  3. hey robert, love your posted topic! i've waited all my life to be a nurse, and am going to graduate with my BSN in may. it's been a long four years......hang in there. i'm pysched to know that somebody else in the world is just as excited as me!
  4. Hello everyone! I'm a nursing student that is graduating in May with my BSN. I was wondering if anybody might know of any hospitals that will hire me as a new grad into the ER, and provide a great orientation program. I was told by my instructor that there are some in Boston (which is where I'm from), but I am open to going just about anywhere. I would appreciate any info that you could provide me with. Thanks for your time. -michelle [email protected]
  5. hello everyone, I was just wondering if anybody could give me some information as well as opinions on what they think of having family present during invasive procedures. I need to debate this topic for my critical care rotation. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks everybody. :-) Michelle [email protected]
  6. i'm a senior in nursing school, and would love to become a flight nurse, but the problem? i'm very anxious and don't want to compete with others with comparing experiences, and degrees. i don't want to wait 5 years before i'm finally qualified to do it. i'll have my BSN in nursing next may. do any of you have any military, (air force especially), stories you can share? i'd LOVE to hear them! thanks.
