  1. mlacy, how was the nursing program or are you still in it? I'm so anxious to start in August. Is there anything I should know, anything I should buy, etc.? How much was your tuition? I have some scholarships, but will have to use some loans to help
  2. I got accepted for the Class of 2015 BSN program!! I start august 20th and I'm so nervous! Any advice or info on courses, schedule, etc. would be helpful!
  3. Has anyone gotten a letter of any kind regarding the Fall 2013 BSN program?
  4. I got a letter from research, didn't get in though. Really hoping I get in for Saint Luke's though. I emailed them and they said everyone should know something before the first week of April.
  5. Nothing new, just that they will accept people on waiting list all the way up to classes starting in January if need be. Crossing my fingers!
  6. I work PRN, but I get full time hours. We are required to "Sign up" for at least 60 hours per pay period and I've worked pretty much every shift so far. Ya sometimes I get cancelled because the census is low or they are fully staffed on the units, but the pay is amazing. That way you get to know the units and decide if you want to be full time on a specific unit.
  7. What is your gpa and what number are you?
  8. I also have been a CNA for four years and have worked in a hospital as a float pool pca for the last two years so I hope that experience helps me.
  9. I'm #19, my gpa is roughly 3.7 and I have all my prerequisites and general education courses done. I also have my associates in general sciences, but dunno if that helps any. Obviously the numbers are in order, but take into consideration some people ahead of us could be accepted into another program and so that takes them off the list. They told me its possible they will get to my number, just depends on what happens in the next couple of weeks. He said to just wait for a phone call. I'd love to be in this program this spring.
  10. I called and was told I was on standby as well and what number I am on the list. He said they will call when a spot is available, could be in a couple of weeks. I was told if I don't hear anything to call in two to three weeks. Crossing my fingers! I have all the prerequisites and general education courses done and a good GPA, so hopefully I'll get a spot!!!
  11. Do y'all think that if I haven't gotten a letter yet that I'm not accepted? I feel like everyone got there's much earlier and I'm still waiting and wishing...
  12. I haven't received a phone call, but was told that not everyone who is accepted gets a phone call, but will still get a letter. I heard first week of November is when we will receive our letters...crossing my fingers!
  13. I'm wondering the same thing, I know when I got the letter saying they received all my application stuff they said mid october, I'm tempted to call...
  14. bump anyone know when they got their letter?
  15. Anyone apply for the Fall 2012 start? I got wait listed and I'm anxiously awaiting if I got one of the spots! Let me know if anyone has heard anything!
